Orchestration

Orchestration solutions enables to manage, monitor and control an unlimited number of different systems and user computers on the enterprise network from a single center. SambaBox, with its Saltstack infrastructure, also known as Salt, can easily manage servers or clients with Windows®, Linux® and macOS® operating systems from a single center without requiring domain membership.

A custom or default script can be run on all of the clients associated with Salt, and the output of the script can then be displayed. Saltstack structure works in server-client structure. An agent software called Salt Minion must be installed on the clients. Agent software to be installed on Linux, Windows and macOS clients is accessed from the Orchestration / Repositories page.

Hint

There’s no need for services like domain, DNS, DHCP or NTP to use SambaBox orchestration capabilities.
